These are all questions that can be answered here, or if preferred will be answered before you instruct your survey. Whether you are buying a sixteenth-century cottage, a brand-new house on a development, a flat or a 3-bed semi, we will provide you with the information to enable you to choose the correct survey so that there will be no surprises.

If you have any specific concerns, tell us about these before we attend the property and we will report back to you directly on these. After you have received your Report, our surveyors will be more than happy to go through the details of the Report if there are any points about which you are unclear.

We offer a full range of residential valuations and surveys, working with over 40 first and second charge lenders, panel managers and brokers along with private clients, housing associations and councils.

We understand the need for clear and concise reporting. Our aim is to ensure that our clients are aware of any potential issues when considering the chosen property. Failure to correctly identify defects can be costly. At Metropolis we can offer Survey and Valuation reports, which are tailored to the information you require. It is important that you are fully aware of the extent of the report you commission. Below is a summary of the key areas covered by each report. Asking questions where other organisations have not enables us to provide comprehensive analysis and feed back to our Business Partners, thus adding value whilst utilising the latest technology and reporting tools.

Broker/Packager Services

Working closely with our Lender, Broker and Packager clients in the Second Charge market has proved highly successful. Our awards are testimony to that. However awards are only earned by delivering agreed Service Standards, high levels of communication, pride in our work and the responsiveness of the dedicated team who make up the Secured Department. We have helped develop Lender Guidance to new and existing companies in the market, often providing added value and risk awareness that was not previously considered.
